Matt Phend am a singer/songwriter living in Traverse City. While he used to play in a full band a number of years ago while living in Chicago, he really enjoy the simplicity of playing acoustic solo or duo guitar/vocal performances these days. Matt has played at numerous pubs, restaurants, and music clubs in the Traverse City and Chicago area, including The Homestead Resort, the Patio @ the Holiday Inn West Bay, Boone’s Long Lake Inn, North Peak Brewing Co., among others. He play an array of music ranging from some original tunes, to a mix of cover tunes by acoustic rock artists such as John Hiatt, James Taylor, Rob Thomas, John Mellencamp, The Band, Lyle Lovett, Crowded House, and several others.
