The Magician

A lustrous dark red London ale. Rich malt complexities lending notes of toasted caramel, raisins, toffee, and slight roast chocolate. Very light hop additions let the true malt characters promenade throughout the tasting enjoyment this beer offers.  It’s a new member of our beer family and has gone over so well, we’re making it year round.

After having this beer at UPtoberfest I’ve been anticipating it in bottles. Reds are by far not my favorite style but this one is great!

I drive 4 hrs to enjoy your beer and Magician was more than worth the drive. I tasted it for the first time three weeks ago and I loved it. Last weekend my fiance’ and I made the drive to visit shorts and we left with a growler of it.

I agree with Josh. Red ales are not my favorite and I usually avoid them. The Magician is different, a lot of taste going on. Flavors I enjoy without the overpowering sweetness you usually get in a red. First swallow I said this is different and very good. Way to go!

We just finished a six pack purchased at Westborn Fruit Market in Dearborn. Delightful! We’re coming up next week and will savor a few of our favorites in our mugs. Darn, we have to be home on May 1, but you all have fun!
