Short's Brewing Company News: Who won the Silver Scrolls at the Huma Lupa Licious Bottle Release Party?
The winners of the silver scrolls from the Huma Lupa Licious bottle release party sure made out on this one. We originally intended to do a tour and hand out a few of the Imperial Beer Series that were finished on March 10th (only 3 at that time and with no labels). The party made things a little hectic and not all six scrolls were unveiled, so we cancelled the tour with Wonka Joe and saved it for another time. Now that the Imperial Beer Series Release tasting and food pairing is developing nicely, I deem it a worthy trade for the silver scrolls “tour rain check”. So those of you who have won a scroll are responsible to furnish it, along with your stainless steel capsule on June 1st at 5pm for the Imperial beer tasting and food pairing. You will still be able to get your exclusive tour with me (not Wonka Joe) and the entire collection of the imperial beer series with custom built crate and authentic wood burn. Snow Wheat: Winter Hefeweizen Style What Ale - notes of banana and clove
Hangin Frank: Toasted pale ale with tons of citrus hoppiness.
The Golden Rule: Our organic English IPA has a simple malt profile which lends most of its attention to the unique hop flavor and aroma. 5.8% ABV
The Magician: A rich lustrous dark red London ale. Rich malt complexities lending notes of toaste caramel, raisins, toffee, and slight roast chocolate. Very light hop additions let the true malt characters promenade throughout the tasting enjoyment this beer
offers. 6.0% ABV
