Do you love Short’s Brewing Company and the craft brewing industry? Do you want to help us make some of the best food on earth? Do you like working with people who care – in Northern Michigan? Are you looking for a full-time, permanent job with great perks? Short’s Brewing Company seeks applicants for its Bellaire Pub. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the hospitality industry, are team players, and either have experience or the desire to gain experience.
Deli Team Members
As a deli team member, you will be responsible for prep work, building sandwiches, making pizzas, and learning how to make the other delicious food items that we serve. You must be able to do basic math, follow recipes, comply with oral and written instructions, use standard measurement systems, effectively and safely use kitchen utensils, be able to work in hot and cold environments, and have sufficient dexterity for working in a crowded workspace with various coworkers.
Bussers/Dishwashers
If you seek steady, entry-level employment in the Bellaire area, this could be the position for you. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, you could become the next superstar employee on our team!
Pubtenders
Though we have not formally announced any Pubtender positions, we are always interested in hearing from talented servers, bartenders, or others who are knowledgeable about craft beer and would enjoy a long-term career as one of our highly skilled pubtenders.
Other Requirements
Jobs in our pub require the ability to climb and descend stairs, lift heavy objects, stand for hours without a break, bend, and twist. These are fast-paced positions that require precision and professionalism. You must be able to get along with others and work as a team. The reward is huge, as you will get to be a part of something that is truly special in Northern Michigan.
How to Apply
If you are interested, please email a resume and cover letter to employment@shortsbrewing.com. Previous food service or related experience is preferred, but not required.
