Now Hiring: Festival & Events Paid Intern!

Are you looking for a killer, once-in-a-lifetime internship opportunity in event planning? Short’s is now seeking to hire an extremely hardworking, organized, upbeat Festivals & Events Intern to help with summer and fall festivals and events, for approximately 30 weeks – ideally from April 2018 through November 2018! We are looking for candidates who are passionate about the brewing industry, are team players, and either have event planning experience or the desire to gain experience.

The Festivals & Events Intern duties include planning and organizing Short’s events, building, staging, prepping equipment and booths for festivals, cleaning and organizing supplies and equipment, traveling to events, coordinating with other departments at Short’s as it relates to events (e.g., Sales, Marketing & Design), and assisting with ad hoc projects.

The Festivals & Events Intern should be available to work all weekends throughout the course of the internship. Applicants should possess exceptional communication skills, be handy with machinery and power tools, love to keep things organized and clean, have great attention to detail, and maintain a valid driver’s license free of alcohol offenses.

Think you have what it takes to represent Short’s Brewing Company and Starcut Ciders at festivals and events across the Great Lakes Region (Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio)? Submit your cover letter, resume, and any college/university internship requirements today! Note: Applicants must be 21 years of age.
