Where can I get tickets?

Short’s Fest ‘19 tickets are ONLY available for purchase online at MyNorth Tickets.

Do I have to bring a printed copy of my ticket?

You have the option to print your ticket or we will be able to scan your ticket off of your mobile device.

Can I bring my kids?

Sorry, Short’s Fest is strictly a 21 and up event. A valid, government-issued photo ID is required at entry. This includes babies and toddlers. No exceptions.

Where is Short’s Fest happening?

Short’s Fest takes place at the Short’s Production Facility in Elk Rapids, at 211 Industrial Park Drive. The festival entrance is located on Industrial Park Drive.

What are the hours of Short’s Fest?

Gates will open at 5pm on August 3rd, last call is at 10:30pm and the festival ends at 11pm. Limited Pre-Party ticket entry will start at 4pm.

How much does it cost to get in?

We have 2 ticket types this year. Tickets are only available at MyNorth Tickets.

  • Short’s Fest General Admission Ticket includes a custom Short’s Fest reusable cup and (6) tokens – $30
  • Short’s Fest All Inclusive Pre-Party Ticket includes a six pack of Shortsicle, a custom Short’s stainless camping mug, , one pair of Short’s Fest sunglasses, a custom Short’s Fest reusable cup, (6) tokens, & early entry to the party starting at 4:00 pm! – $60


Does my ticket include anything?

See above for specifics. All Short’s Fest tickets get you into the event and include access to all food and beverages, live music, and the opportunity to tour the production facility.


Additional tokens are available for $2.50 each and can be used to purchase beer, cider, or food from Woj’s Weiners. Both cash and credit cards will be accepted.

Music: Who is playing? When is each band playing?

All live performances will be held on the lawn located on the corner of Industrial Park Drive and US-31.

How do I get a drink?

Tokens are included in your ticket purchase and will be provided as you enter the party. Additional tokens will be available from roaming token sales persons. There will be two tiers of beverages available, regular and gourmet. Each token will be good for (1) 8 oz. regular pour or (1) 6 oz. gourmet pour (double your pour for 2 tokens!). Step up and order from one of our friendly staffers, and provide us with a beer token in exchange. Additional tokens are available (2) for $5 are able to be used to purchase alcoholic beverages, production tours, or food from Woj’s Weiners. Both cash and credit cards will be accepted.

Will there be bottled beer for sale?

Bottled beer will be available for purchase at the Honey Badger starting at 5 pm and ready for pick up at any time during the event. The Honey Badger will also be home to our beer check, so that you do not have to carry your bottles with you during the event.

Do you offer samples?

Unfortunately, because of the nature of the event, we will not be offering samples. If you have questions about a particular beer, our friendly staff will be happy to help!

Will the production facility be open for tours?

Yes it will! The production facility will be open for limited tours from 5:30-9:00 on a first come, first served basis. Tours will cost $5 or (2) tokens.

Tour times are:

5:30 pm – 1st tour

6:00 pm – 2nd tour

6:30 pm – 3rd tour

7:00 pm – 4th tour

7:30 pm – 5th tour

8:00 pm – 6th tour

8:30 pm – 7th tour

9:00 pm – 8th tour (last one)


What is there to eat?

Local food trucks will have a variety of food available for purchase. Food will be available for purchase with cash and credit.

Can I return my unused beverage tokens?

Unfortunately no. Tokens are non-refundable, and have no cash value.

Can I bring my own water?

We will permit non-glass empty or sealed water bottles and will have several complimentary water-filling stations throughout the festival.

Can I get my growler filled?

We will not be filling growlers during the festival. Sorry!

Will the festival sell-out?

We hope so! If this is something that concerns you, purchase your ticket in advance!

I bought a ticket, but now I can’t attend. Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, festival passes are not refundable, but you can pass on a ticket to a friend!

Is there re-entry?

Yes, however re-entry will be permitted at the discretion of our staff & festival security.

What if it rains?

Short’s Fest is a rain-or-shine event. Being outdoors, rain is always a possibility, we hope for the best but we suggest you keep an eye on the weather and come prepared!

Is the event handicap accessible?

Yes! All areas of the festival grounds are handicap accessible.

Where do I park?

Short’s Fest takes place at Short’s Production Facility at 211 Industrial Park Drive in Elk Rapids, MI. The festival entrance is located on Industrial Park Drive. With Harbor Days events going on at the same time, parking will be limited and sporadic. We highly recommend carpooling and preparing to walk a bit. We ask that you please not park on US-31.
