Snake Juice

Coffee India Pale Ale It's about to get real scary really fast

Snake Juice is a pale orange colored IPA brewed with Sidama and Yirgacheffe coffee beans from Higher Grounds Trading Company. The aroma is a blend of fruity citrus hops with roasted coffee and subtle chocolate notes. Sweet flavors of java, berries, and orange lead into a complimentary bitterness that lingers with a pleasant mocha-like finish.

Origin Story

Snake Juice (according to T$): The name Snake Juice came from a Parks and Recreation episode that Tyler enjoyed very much. I checked it out and it was pretty funny. On the show, Snake Juice is a highly intoxicating drink made with coffee, created by the character Tom. I've wanted to make a coffee IPA for a while now, so I decided to make our own version of Snake Juice. We used two types of light roast coffee from Ethiopia. Sidama, which is supposed to have some blueberry nuances and Yirgacheffe that has citrus fruit and berry notes. And don't worry, it's not rat poison. Woj's tasting notes: A pale orange colored IPA brewed with Sidama and Yirgacheffe coffee beans. The aroma is a blend of fruity citrus hops with roasted coffee and subtle chocolate notes. Sweet flavors of java, berries, and orange lead into a complimentary bitterness that lingers with a pleasant mocha-like finish.
