Throwing Copper is a Pale Ale brewed with Carapils Copper Malt from Briess Malt & Ingredients Co. and hopped exclusively with Michigan Copper hops from MI Local Hops. Light in color with a lingering white head, Throwing Copper has an aroma comprised of notes of grass, citrus , biscuit, and graham cracker. A grassy hop flavor is balanced by a malty backbone. Medium-bodied and finishing with a slight bitterness, this Pale Ale is  reminiscent of a wet hopped beer.

From Ryan Hale: "This is my recipe and I just wanted to do a pale ale utilizing this hop along with a sample of malt we got from Briess called Carapils Copper Malt. The name is in reference to the malt and hops and to the Album from LIVE called Throwing Copper. "
