Short’s Brewing Company is looking for a Dough Specialist to join our Bellaire brewpub team. This role supports our food program by preparing high-quality dough and assisting with kitchen prep to ensure consistency and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

Prepare pizza and pretzel dough following standardized recipes

Accurately measure, mix, shape, rotate, and store dough

Plan daily dough production based on business levels

Assist with general food prep and dishwashing as needed

Follow all food safety and sanitation standards (FIFO, labeling, cooling)

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area

Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management

Compensation & Benefits

Pay range $15.00- $18.00 per hour, based on experience

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen or baking experience

ServSafe certification required

Basic math, organization, and time-management skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Physical Requirements

Stand for shifts up to 8 hours

Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Perform repetitive motions and frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
