Short’s Brewing Co. is seeking a Kitchen Worker to join the team at our Bellaire brewpub! This role is an opportunity to be part of a culture built on passion, creativity, and fun. At Short’s, employee satisfaction is central to our mission.
Kitchen Workers are responsible for the day-to-day food production at our Bellaire pub. This includes preparing sandwiches, pizzas, soups, appetizers, and to-go orders, as well as assisting with dishwashing as needed. Kitchen Workers are expected to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation at all times.
Strong communication skills are important, as this role works closely with Pubtenders and management to ensure high-quality food is prepared efficiently and accurately, and to communicate any food production issues or out-of-stock items.
What You’ll Need

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment

Basic math skills to accurately measure ingredients

Ability to stand and work on your feet for shifts up to 10 hours

Availability to work nights, weekends, and busy shifts (required)
Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $15.00–$18.00 per hour, based on experience
