N/A

Ants on a Lager is a Vienna style Lager brewed with peanut butter, raisins, and hand-juiced celery. Copper-colored with a frothy white head, Ants on a Lager has aromas of peanut butter, caramel, and light biscuit. Flavors of peanut butter and slightly sweet raisin are followed by a hint of celery. Ants on a Lager has a silky mouth feel, reminiscent of peanut butter. This experimental brew is truly one of a kind.

Origin Story

Luke and I collaborated on this recipe and it also has a cool story. Luke mentioned wanted to do a beer like this about a year ago, and when i was working at Arbor my assistant at the time also had this same idea and coined the name "Ants On A Lager", After I moved up here to work for Short's he moved out the India to help out with the Arbor Brewing Franchise, the last time I saw him was about 4 years ago. Randomly enough, when we made this beer 2 weeks ago, someone came and told me that there was someone I used to work with asking if I was here. It ended up being Logan, which is his name, and he was back in the states...I guess he left Arbor and is about to move to Mexico for another brewing venture, and was up north visiting his Mom and hometown of Onaway. So, this beer was meant to be, and also he is totally cool with us using the name! - Ryan Hale
