Origin Story
From Luke: Next in line for the milkshake series, I wanted to do a super tropical beer with Banana and coconut. I used Motueka and Sabro hops to put the tropical aroma/taste over the top. Inspired somewhat by Dole's Pineapple Orange Banana juice that my friends and I used to chug in the college years, affectionately calling it P.O.B. Keeping with the morbid nostalgic childhood theme of "The Ooze" and "Barney Blood", I wanted to call this hazy yellow beer, Big Bird Blood. The artwork is by Carrie Metz-Caporusso, who has done the art for the whole series. The label art is the skull of a giant prehistoric bird called, Brontornis, a 9.2 foot predatory bird that inhabited Patagonia thousands of years ago. Stoked for this one, it's truly one of a kind.Hops
