Origin Story

"I came up with this beer idea when I was shopping for light bulbs. I discovered that "Soft White" was "Blanco Suave" on the Spanish printed side. I thought that Blanco Suave would make a pretty epic beer name and quickly thought up the idea of having a Belgian white beer (or wit) with some Latin flair. I pitched it to Tony as basically being a straight up wit, then adding lime and perhaps other spices to complement the coriander that's in most wits. He threw down with some tangerine and grains of paradise. I tasted some out of the tank when I was at the pub last, and I think it makes a nice little summer brew. As far as the art, it's a reference to the Gerardo song "Rico Suave." Forrnesto has taken Gerardo's place, sporting a Short's work shirt and Gerardo's epic hairdo. Sorry ladies, he's taken." - Al Russel
