Sour Ale

As a way to both celebrate the Untappd Community and support our industry and farmers and producers who grow and supply our beautiful natural ingredients, Dogfish Head created a base recipe for a sessionable sour ale and shared it with the craft brew community. Our version of “I Remember My First Check-In” is a Sour Ale brewed with malt from Great Lake Malting, hops from MI Local Hops and balaton and montmorency cherries from King Orchards. Cheers to 10 years of Untappd!

Tasting notes: With a pink hue and a pink head this sour ale delivers bright aromas of Northern Michigan tart cherries. I Remember My First Check In has a medium body with flavors of slight wheat and a whole lot of tart cherries before finishing dry and sour—Northern Michigan in a glass!
