Sour Belgian-style wheat ale with blueberry, strawberry, raspberry and blackberry aged in wine barrels

Belgian Style Wheat ale fermented with a mixed culture and aged in sour wine barrels. After about 2 years of aging in barrels we then added our classic berry combo of strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry. Short’s FestivALE has aromas of fresh tart berries and slight oak. The flavors mimic the aroma with a blast of mixed tart berries accompanied by a medium body and dry finish.
