Strobelite Honey is a Stout brewed with orange blossom honey and ginger.

Strobelite Honey is a Stout brewed with orange blossom honey and ginger. Pitch black in color with a prominent mocha colored head, this beer carries aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, and ginger. Well balanced and with a creamy mouthfeel, the spicy ginger melds with the chocolate and roast. Strobelite Honey finishes smooth with a touch of honey sweetness and ginger spice.

Origin Story

The name for Strobelight Honey comes from a early '90's hip-hop song by Black Sheep. I was trying to recreate some of my high school "mix tapes" in Spotify and came across this long forgotten gem of a song - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_JtkSmw808. I thought it sounded like a great name for a beer and stouts happen to be one of my favorite beer styles, so a honeyed, ginger stout was born. If you are in a mood for a late '80's/early '90's playlist, may I also suggest the following (also tracks on the mix tape...yes, cassette tape...): Tap the Bottle - Young Black Teenagers Buttermik Biscuits - Sir Mix A Lot Kiss Them For Me - Siouxie and the Banshees The Choice is Yours - Black Sheep Suck my Kiss - Red Hot Chili Peppers So What Cha Want - Beastie Boys Bonita Applebum - Tribe Called Quest Black - Pearl Jam
