An American India Pale Ale brewed with pomegranate. Sharp bitter aromas of pomegranate and citrus zest prepare the senses for the shock of fruity flavors to follow. Fun tart and slightly sour flavors overshadow most of the contributing malt sweetness, before leading into a surprisingly dry finish, that’s not overwhelmingly bitter compared to the initial flavors up front

Origin Story
have always dreamed about having some say in a Short's brew. While day dreaming, I conjured up some things that I love in life: IPAs (duh) and my dog Wally (aka the coolest dog ever). I wanted to do a fruity IPA and realized we have not (to my knowledge) used pomegranates. I told Tony about my hopes and dreams for the beer. He did the Tony Shrug and said "sure". I was hoping to have Wally help brew, but I could not find a large enough hairnet. Plain and simple story, but a delicious ending.- Kathleen ChimkoHops
