Invite your favorite uncle to dinner, Uncle Steve’s Irish Stout

Dark beer lovers, rejoice! Making a last minute appearance on our 2016 bottle release schedule, Uncle Steve’s Irish Stout is now available in kegs AND bottles throughout the state of Michigan.

Uncle Steve’s Irish Stout (4.5% ABV – 20 IBU) is Short’s version of the classic Irish Stout, complete with a dark color, soft head, and smooth full flavor typical of this lighter bodied beer. A simple grist formula provides a base of roasted malt flavors and a creamy drinkability everyone loves.

As the story goes, a long long time ago in the year 2008, Steve-O “the wizard” Ison requested we brew an Irish Stout. Joe consented, but added a Short’sy twist to this classic style, making this beer bigger and badder than originally proposed. Uncle Steve’s Irish Stout quickly won over the hearts and taste buds of Short’s fans across the state after appearances at our annual Brewski Bash and the statewide distribution of bottles and kegs.

This beer is so tasty, if we had the option of finding a pot of gold or a pot of Uncle Steve’s Irish Stout at the end of the proverbial beer rainbow, we’d take the stout without hesitation. One taste, and we think you’ll agree. Find this beer at the end of your beer rainbow (or maybe at your favorite taproom or bottle shop) beginning this week.
