Space Rock Soars Through the Atmosphere

Several years ago Joe Short came into possession of what he believed to be a pretty average, old snowmobile.  Little did he know that this snowmobile had immeasurable travel potential.  Upon starting it up during this winter’s first snow, Joe was thrust up at a near ninety degree angle and jetted into the sky. After soaring through layers of clouds and falling snow, Joe found himself exiting earth’s atmosphere and cruising through outer space – Joe suddenly realized that this snowmobile was extraterrestrial in Nature!

Unable to steer, Joe clung to the handlebars for dear life.  Evidently, this snowmobile was on a mission! Traveling at what must have been the speed of light, Joe found the snowmobile suddenly slowing as it approached what looked like a floating minefield of golden rocks.  The snowmobile came to a stop and hovered in this minefield long enough for Joe to reach out and grab an armful of these rocks thinking that maybe, just maybe, they would come in handy back on earth!

Knowing its work was through, the snowmobile turned around and chauffeured Joe back through space, our atmosphere, downtown Bellaire and to the Pub where Joe put these space rocks to work.  It turns out that these space rocks were actually intergalactic hops! It seems that some sort of alien life form selected Short’s to be the first terrestrial  brewery to brew beer with these tasty little nuggets of alien technology, and thus, Space Rock was born.

Space Rock (5% ABV, 70 IBU) is a light bodied American Pale Ale with prominent floral and orange peel-like hop aromas. Only the slightest grainy malt qualities are detectable, as assertive bitter flavors of citrus rind and dandelion leaf take hold.  The finish lingers with a waning bitterness that’s not overly dry.

Be sure to pick up your very own six pack of Space Rock today, this intergalactic brew is certain to take off quickly!
