Counterculture Common: Counterculture Common (4.25% ABV, 50 IBU) is a Sour Mash Southern Style Dark Lager brewed with flaked maize and rye. The nose is full of yeasty grain aromas and sweet roasted notes. Despite its dark appeal, the body is surprisingly light with malty attributes of caramel and cocoa. The finish is clean with a touch of bitterness.
The Village Reserve: The Village Reserve (4.5% ABV, 60 IBU) is a beer fermented from wort extracted from fully modified two-row pale malt, resulting in its beautiful golden color. This beer is aggressively hopped and has a medium body, which allows the hop flavor and aroma to be prominent. The Village Reserve is unique due to its exclusive yeast strain. A great balance of malt and hops make it our version of a good ol’ fashioned beer.
Ester: Ester (4.5% ABV) is a clear golden Extra Pale Ale with an abundance of doughy, fruity, and spicy yeast and hop aromas. With a very light body and some delicate cracker-like malt flavors, the focus quickly shifts to big bitter hop flavors of dandelion and similar leafy greens, punctuated by a dry finish.
Sustenance Black Beer: Sustenance Black Beer (6% ABV, 22 IBU), classically referred to as a Schwarz beer, is a dark American lager brewed in the spring. Soft and sweet on the palate, the roasted, dark caramel grains lend to satisfying drinking experience, while lager yeast creates a refreshing thirst-quenching sensation. This combination provides a rich, full-flavored, light bodied brew.
