We consider ourselves lucky to be surrounded by earth’s most precious resource, freshwater. All living things need water to survive, and we certainly need it to create and brew our beer every day. Constantly inspired by the abundance of water around us, we’re humbled by the responsibility to protect it. Originally brewed in 2012 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Clean Water Act, Superfluid quickly became a favorite among many at the pub, both for the delicious resiny hop flavors and the message behind the beer. For 2018 we’re resolving to make our commitment to projects aiming to protect our water an even greater priority, so when making our decision on what seasonal beer we wanted to kick off 2018 with, the choice was simple.
Superfluid (9.1% ABV – 91 IBU) is an American Double India Pale Ale that explodes with a perfume of resiny hop aromas! A simple malt bill allows the hops to shine with flavors of coconut, pineapple, and tropical fruit. The perfect bitterness resonates across the palate, complementing the awesome hop intensity within.
This Double IPA was missed by many in 2017, so we’re happy to give the people what they want with this hoppy brew. Look for six packs of this seasonal release to begin hitting stores this week throughout the Great Lakes Region.
