$plurge is a Double IPA made with a lavish blend seven varieties of hops. Slightly hazy and light copper in color, the frothy white head has huge aromas of tropical hops. Leading with super fruity citrus and pineapple flavors, this medium-bodied beer is deceivingly smooth for the higher ABV. Treat yourself to this indulgent, tropical hoppy brew!
Bourbon Barrel Aged Huma Lupa Licious is our flagship American India Pale Ale aged in bourbon barrels. Initial malt sweetness is replaced with flavors of charred oak and sweet vanilla, followed by the standard Huma hop punch to the palate. This new combination creates the sensation of sipping on a sweet Bourbon that finishes like a bitter hop theme park in your mouth.
Spruce Pilsner is an Imperial Pilsner, fermented with local, hand-picked blue spruce tips. The spruce presence, rooted in historical brewing practices, is enormous and gives the beer a refreshing gin quality. This beer is impressively light-bodied, considering the immense spruce flavors and the prodigious additions of hops.
Yoda‘s Blend is back, but the Jedi Masters of Short’s have changed this IPA blend for 2019! Flavors of citrus and pine lead the pack with a hint of roasted malt before finishing with slight tropical notes. Medium-bodied, this bright copper beer finishes dry and reminiscent of a traditional IPA.
Good Humans was originally created to showcase one of Briess Malting Company’s new malt varieties. Good Humans is a Double Brown Ale made with Carabrown Malt and dry-hopped with Simcoe and Golding hops. The brew has sweet malty esters that are met by huge toasted caramel and toffee flavors. The finish is dry with a bouquet of hops.
Magic Eye is a New England style IPA brewed with Mosaic and Mandarina hops. Pale orange in color and opaque, Magic Eye has aromas of bright orange, passion fruit, and mango. At first sip, big tropical citrus flavors dominate the palate followed by just a touch of bitterness in the finish. This medium-bodied IPA is fruit-forward and very refreshing.
