Island Chomper, the latest installment of Short’s Private Stache series will be released on Saturday, June 13th, 2015 at 11 am. This DIPA takes a bite out of summer with tropical fruit and citrus hop flavors.
Island Chomper (9.8% ABV) is a Double American India Pale Ale brewed with pineapple, passion fruit, apple, orange, papaya, apricot and guava. Bountiful citrus rind aromatics contribute to an overall tangy bitter nose in this brew. Ample flavors of orange and tart tropical fruit shift quickly to a sour mouth puckering bitterness. The finish is very dry, which is quite the contrast to the initial juicy mouthfeel.
Like all releases from our Private Stache, Island Chomper will ONLY be available for sale at our pub in limited quantities beginning on June 13th. Each bottle of Island Chomper will cost $19.00. There is a 4 bottles per person limit. Once you pick up your bottles of our stache join us at the 1st Annual Aloha Summer Party where we’re raising money, awareness, and a few pints to Glacial Hills.
