Tim Jones is a powerhouse vocalist known as the “Chauffeur of Soul.” He’s worked on hundreds of records, collaborating with Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes, Carl Broemel of My Morning Jacket, and co-producing projects like Truth & Salvage Co. and Whiskey Wolves of the West. He’s written songs for artists like Shelly Fairchild, Jaime McLean, and Nicki Bluhm, and led songwriting workshops with organizations like the Country Music Hall of Fame and Interlochen Center for the Arts.
Jones’ band, Whiskey Wolves of the West, debuted at the Stagecoach Music Fest in 2016 to critical acclaim from the LA Times. Their first release, Country Roots, was named one of Rolling Stone’s Top Ten Country EPs of 2018. They’ve played festivals like Long Creek, Wildwood Revival, and Americanafest, where they were named Best Backing Band by Rolling Stone Country in 2018.
With Truth & Salvage Co., Jones’ songs have been featured in TV shows, movies, and commercials, and the band has toured with the Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Avett Brothers, and The Lumineers. They’ve performed at major festivals like Bonnaroo and Stagecoach and iconic venues like Red Rocks and the Fillmore.
