Prepare for landing: Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster
Prepare for landing: our latest intergalactic specialty brew is on its way to a store near you! Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster, a Double Belgian IPA, is brewed to give your earthly palate a taste of a beer that simply put, is out of this world. Some might even say it’s the best drink in existence.
Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster (8.4% ABV – 90 IBU) is a Double Belgian IPA brewed exclusively with Galaxy hops. The nose is an impressive blend of citrus aromas reminiscent of guava and lemons. It also has subtle Belgian yeast esters. An intense, clean bitterness dominates the flavor profile, with little malt character to compete with. A fruity yeast sweetness is noticeable in the finish, alongside a resounding bitterness.
The trajectory for this shipment of Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster leaves the state of Michigan dead center in the crosshairs. It looks like she’ll be coming in for a landing at stores across the state beginning this week. Be sure to pick up your six pack of this extraterrestrial Short’s specialty brew before it’s too late!
What do IBU and ABV mean?
Hi George,
IBU stands for “International Bitterness Units scale.” It is a tool to gauge a beers bitterness. ABV stands for “Alcohol by Volume.” Please email cs@shortsbrewing.com if you have any further questions.
84% ABV!? Easy now, guys.
Thanks for catching that, Arthur!
I’m surprised any stores will carry these bottles with such foul language printed right on the label.
This is my absolute favorite beer. I just bought a case of it. I did not see it on the schedule for next year. Please tell me there is a chance.
Unfortunately, Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster did not make our 2016 bottling schedule. We hope you’ll find another Short’s specialty brew you enjoy as well next year!
