2018 was a great year for the #ShandySkiSquad, and we’re looking to keep the party going for 2019 and take it to a whole new level! That’s right, we’re partnering with Action Water Sports, MasterCraft, & Radar Skis again to bring you a summer of fun events. We’re kicking things off this year at the Action Water Sports of Central Florida location where we’ll have not just skiing, but wakesurfing and wakeboarding happening too. Shandy Ski Squad – Summer Kick Off!
Where: Short’s Brewing Company Production Facility – 211 Industrial Park Dr. Elk Rapids, MI

Mark your calendar and join us at the Short’s Brewing Company Pull Barn for the official kick off to the Shandy Ski Squad Summer! We’ll be celebrating all day long with boats on display from Action Water Sports, food trucks, and plenty of Short’s Brews and Starcut Ciders. Plus you’ll be able to enter to win a pair of custom Soft Parade Shandy combo waterskis from Radar Skis! We won’t be hitting the water for this round, but join us for a beer and get ready to hit it soon.
Shandy Ski Squad – Ski for a Cause

Sometimes water skiing contests can be a little…stuffy. So we’re breaking the mold and putting together Michigan’s first water ski “not-a-contest” contest. An event created to bring together serious slalom swervers alongside recreational weekend warriors. Combo skiers taking turns with trick skiers. Beginners paired up with pros. An opportunity to bring the entire water ski community together for an afternoon of fun, food and festivities, along with raising funds for a great cause.
Shandy Ski Squad – Learn to Ski at The White Lake Inn

When: Thursday, June 21st, 2018 4-8pm
We’re celebrating the summer solstice by getting some turns in at the historic White Lake Inn. Come learn to ski with us all day long and treat yourself with a cold Soft Parade Shandy when you’re done. Link to Flickr album.
Shandy Ski Squad – Come Ski with us at Dockside!

Wrap up your season with the Shandy Ski Squad in style with a ski day on beautiful Torch Lake! Learn to ski behind a Mastercraft boat from Action Water Sports on some sweet Radar Skis. We’ll have Soft Parade Shandy and Melt My Brain available to wet your whistle after getting your turns in at Dockside. Plus, they’re always pouring Bellaire Brown from the taps and have Huma Lupa Licious and Local’s Light in bottles. Join us for a day of family fun on the water!
Shandy Ski Squad – Action Water Sports Central Florida

The Shandy Ski Squad is back! Since it’s still a little chilly in Michigan, we’re heading south to Florida to hit the water ASAP. Join us as Action Water Sports Central Florida celebrates their anniversary and we bring the brews for an excellent day of watersports and sun. There will be hotdogs, snacks, swag, skiing, wakeboarding, wake surfing, and of course Short’s brews. Kick off your weekend on Friday, May 31st with Joe and the rest of the squad for a Soft Parade Shandy and earn your beer with some turns on the lake!
Shandy Ski Squad – Pine Lake Marina

We’re back in Michigan and ready to hit the water at the Pine Lake Marina! Join us as Action Water Sports brings out some of the sweet Mastercraft boats to Brian’s Wakeboard Clinic for plenty of waterskiing, wakeboarding, and wake surfing on the finest Radar and Ronix gear. Once you’re done on the water, kick back with a cold Short’s brew and reward yourself for all those turns and jumps.

Shandy Ski Squad – White Birch Lodge

We’re bringing it back to northern Michigan to round out the Shandy Ski Squad season! Join us on Saturday, August 24th at White Birch Lodge for a free day of waterskiing, wakeboarding, and wake surfing with MasterCraft boats from Action Water Sports and gear from Radar Skis and Ronix Wake. Old Mission Eats will be serving up delicious bites to eat, and of course, there will be plenty of Short’s brews including Soft Parade Shandy. White Birch Lodge will also be providing coaching for anyone from beginners to experts. They have been teaching people how to ski for 60+ years, so if you’ve never skied before, now’s the time!
