Strawberry Short’s Cake is ripe for the pickin’

Summer starts when Strawberry Short’s Cake returns. This Golden Ale brewed with strawberries, milk sugar, and bisquity malts tastes just like eating the real thing. Grab a six-pack when you visit the pub or Pull Barn and look for it on shelves in Michigan and Ohio this week.

Strawberry Short’s Cake (4.6% ABV – 15 IBU) is a Golden Ale brewed with the addition of strawberries and milk sugar. The flavors of shortcake and fresh strawberries transform this beer into rose-colored party nectar that is pleasingly sweet with hints of cream. Biscuit flavors and aromas arise from the use of large amounts of Victory malt.

I had a pink very sweet glass of beer from Shorts there in E.R. I couldn’t remember the name, the bar tender poured it for me and I drank it! FAN-TABULOUS!! Since I don’t like beer taster, per se. Everyone said it must have been Pink Parade. So coming back home to Novi, I bought a 6 pk. Drank my first bottle….yuk it’s tastes like beer, and the color doesn’t seem as light pink. Do you have something else that’s sweeter than Pink Parade? Oh don’t worry I’ll find someone who likes Shorts Pink Parade, I’m sure. It won’t go to waste. Thank you. I will be coming back up to ER to my cottage and I’ll go over there and see what I drank! (I’ll pay attention this time!)

Hey Micky – when were you at the Pull Barn? We can try to figure out what you had based on the timeline. Did you purchase Soft Parade Shandy or regular Soft Parade?
