Origin Story
From Luke - "This was my first recipe for Short's. I was listening to the song "I got 5 on it" by Luniz, which was a favorite from high school/college. I thought it would be a great beer name for an IPA with 5 different hops....I chose 5 of my favorite hops at the time(which have changed drastically since then haha), and used them throughout the boil and dry hopped the beer with all 5 hops... The artwork was just an idea I had to reflect the 5 different hops with different colors and hop fingertips, and the eye in the palm lended to the psychedelic theme of the label, "eye got five on it"...that's about it, hope this helps."Hops
