Wine Barrel Aged Orange You Glad I Didn’t Call You Honey?! is a Mixed culture French Saison fermented with Brettanomyces and brewed with fresh orange, lemon, orange blossom honey, and green cardamom aged in wine barrels. Dark orange in color with a frothy head and beautiful lacing, this beer has aromas of citrus, spice, and a barnyard funk that is nice. Initially you’re greeted with flavors of esters and barnyard funk that blends with clove, cardamom, bubblegum, banana, and slight oak. The citrus blends with the barrels allowing the Brettanomyces funk to shine. This beer finishes fairly dry with slight warming sensation.
