Short’s Cast is on-site at Brewery Terra Firma in Traverse City, Michigan to talk with Head Brewer and Owner John Niedermaier. You’ve heard of John before within the tales of Jack Archiable. John was the head brewer at Traverse Brewing Company and when TBC closed he moved on to become the head brewer at Right Brain Brewery in Traverse City.
John’s overall plan was to start his own sustainable brewery on a farm somewhere in Northern Michigan. Well, a few years ago that dream came true. Brewery Terra Firma is a self sustaining brewery a few miles south of Traverse City. It sits on a 10 acre farm that grows hops, barley, pumpkins, you name it, they’ll grow it and brew it up in one of John’s delicious recipes.
