We are excited to bring you the first episode of Short’s Cast from Short’s Brewing Company. In this episode you get an introduction to what we plan on bringing you throughout the year.
In our first segment Joe Short breaks down how Short’s began as a brew pub in Bellaire and a few years later bought a production facility in Elk Rapids, Michigan. Joining Joe is Public Relations Director Matt Gacioch and Quality Control Manager Tyler Glaze.
We have a run down of Kalamazoo Beer Week which kicks off on January 11th and runs thru the 18th. This event is produced and promoted by Imperial Beverage in Kalamazoo.
Performing at the brewpub in Bellaire on January 10th we have the talented all woman four piece Stella performing at 7:30pm
Also performing at the brew pub in Bellaire on January 11th we have the beautiful voice of E-Minor out of Traverse City, MI.
We also hear two great stories. The first from Tyler Glaze on how he decided he would move from working in the wine industry on Mackinac Island to becoming the Quality Control Manager at Short’s.
Then we hear from the man who was there from the very beginning. Jack Archiable who first hired Joe Short into the brewing world when he was the brewer and co-owner of Traverse Brewing Company.
