If you thought our coffee infused brews ended at Cup A Joe, you were mistaken. Once again, we’re teaming up with our friends at Higher Grounds Trading Company and taking a little inspiration from our favorite fictitious government employee, THE Tom Haverford of Pawnee, Indiana, in order to bring you Snake Juice!
Snake Juice (6.9% ABV – 64 IBU) is a pale orange colored IPA brewed with Sidama and Yirgacheffe coffee beans from Higher Grounds Trading Company. The aroma is a blend of fruity citrus hops with roasted coffee and subtle chocolate notes. Sweet flavors of java, berries, and orange lead into a complimentary bitterness that lingers with a pleasant mocha-like finish.
While Ron Swanson hasn’t tried this version of Snake Juice yet, we’re pretty sure he’d still say “Damn if that isn’t delicious.” Luckily you don’t have to make a trip to the Snakehole Lounge for this version of the fabled beverage. Just stop by your favorite MI bottle shop, store, or taproom to pick up a sixer.
