You may recognize the next beer in our Private Stache series from years past. A beer so sinfully delicious, you’ll think you’ve committed a crime just for popping the cap. Bourbon Evil Urges, will be released at our pub this Halloween.
Bourbon Evil Urges (8.5% ABV – 40 IBU) is a bourbon barrel aged Belgian dark strong ale. A sharp aroma of chocolate and molasses hits the senses, reminiscent of a rich liqueur. Aided by additions of Belgian amber candy sugar, the initial flavors are sweet and malty, with some unique, dark fruit qualities. This beer is full bodied with an intense warming finish.
We’ve been assured that this beer has been brewed and aged without the aid of “dark” magic. And while it certainly contains “no added demons,” we can’t guarantee that this deep, dark potion won’t awake something devilish inside of you. Just remember, It ain’t evil if you aren’t hurting anybody. Acting on urges and exorcising the demons. Those tasty little demons.
Bottles of Bourbon Evil Urges will go on sale for $20.00 each beginning at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 31st, 2015 and will be on sale until sold-out. Bottle sales will be limited to 2 bottles per person. Short’s annual Halloween party will kick off Saturday evening featuring live music by Joe Hertler and the Rainbow Seekers. Our tap list will feature PUMPKINCRUSHA and Basic B Pumpkin Latte Stout throughout the day.
