Super Hoppy Holidays 2018

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Time for the Super Hoppy Holidays Variety Pack to return! We’re mixing up the pack this year and bringing back a couple longtime favorites like Dan’s Pink Skirt and Goodnight Bodacious, plus we’re introducing a brand new IPA, Yoda’s Blend. Keep an eye out for it on store shelves starting November 1st and seize the hopportunity to grab one (or 2 or 3) before they’re gone. We look forward to celebrating the holidays with you. On behalf of all of us here at Short’s Brewing Company, we wish you a Super Hoppy Holiday and Happy New Beers!

Goodnight Bodacious is a Double Black India Pale Ale with the maltiness of a Barleywine and the hoppiness of an IPA. A rich, hoppiness dominates the aroma, with earthy and loamy scents. A medium body presents big, bitter black barley and roasted coffee flavors, with subtle complements of dark fruit and green hops. Strong alcohol flavors and pleasant warming qualities become more noticeable as the beer approaches room temperature.

Dan’s Pink Skirt is an American IPA brewed with Summit and Simcoe hops. Malt characteristics are mild throughout and practically undetectable in the nose. Pronounced floral and citrus aromas abound, with a pine resin hop bitterness that lingers well into the finish.

Step into the Haze is an New England-style IPA with a light copper color and a huge citrus nose. Brewed with a 25% oat grist bill and Azacca and Mosaic hops, Step into the Haze has flavors of citrus and melon. This easy drinking IPA is medium-bodied with a bitter finish.

Batch 5000 is a big-bodied, Triple American India Pale Ale with a sizable palate-coating sweetness. Delicious flavors and aromas of pineapple and orange are complemented by an awesome piney hop bitterness that leads into a warming finish.

Aww Jeah is a Double American India Pale Ale with a dark orange hue and big hop aromas. Sweet malt collides with an array of hop flavors ranging from sticky fruit to pine in this brew. Aww Jeah shifts towards a finish that is sharp and bitter.

Yoda’s Blend is an IPA made with a complex blend of hops never to be replicated again. Using The Force, our brewers have concocted an out of this world brew only to be seen in the 2018 Super Hoppy Holidays Variety Pack.

So late to the party this year! Any way to find out who carried these around Lake Orion or Rochester so I can see if any are still around?

    1. Angela Seefried says:

Hey Theresa! Looks like it is still available in some stores around your area. I did a quick check on our beer locator and found it at a Kroger in Rochester (65 S LIVERNOIS RD) and Red Wagon Wine Shop (2940 S ROCHESTER RD). Or you can use our beer locator to find it in a store near you:
