With snow falling on Mother’s Day weekend, we feel it’s time to formally invite summer to Northern Michigan. Join us this Saturday for our Summer Kickoff Party!Directly following the 5th Annual Short’s to Short’s Paddle, the Short’s staff invites the general public and all S2S participants to a celebration party at the Short’s production brewery in Elk Rapids! This family-friendly event will be a celebration of the beginning to another incredible Northern Michigan summer. Live entertainment will be provided by legendary local music talent Seth Bernard & The Family Business! In addition to the music, there will be food available from the Roaming Harvest food truck/Vern the hot dog guy, great giveaways from Moosejaw, as well as 20 unique Short’s brews on tap! Short’s to Short’s sponsor Grand Traverse Resort will be offering complimentary round-trip shuttle service from their location in Acme to the party for all resort guests.
