We love telling stories here at Short’s, and fortunately, we have many to tell! On this episode of the Short’s Cast, the brewers sat down to talk with us about how they started in this industry and what led them to Short’s. This is part one of a two part series entitled “How I Became a Brewer.” We lead off by hearing stories from Joe Short, Head Brewer Tony Hansen, Lead Production Brewer Curt Guntzviller, and Production Brewer Aaron Smith who talk about everythng from their start in the brewing industry, to what beers they’ve always wanted to brew.
Our beer release this week is “Kind Ale” which is brewed with local Northern Michigan hops and will be available in stores this week. There are a lot of references to Kind Ale throughout today’s episode as it is delicious and held near and dear to many of our hearts.
