10 am-12 pm
An incredible 12 miles of multi-use trail has been built at the Glacial Hills Pathway and Natural Area with 8-10 more on the way this year! Join the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy for a hike, bike, or trail run Saturday, May 4th, 10 am-12 pm to learn about and experience this amazing place!
The group will gather at the trail head off on Eckhardt Rd where preserve steward Brad Gerlach will briefly describe the property’s acquisition story, environmental significance, and the on-going trail-building effort. The group will then separate into hikers, bikers, and runners for a trip through the hills.
Hike: 1.5 mi
Bike: 4 mi (we will do the loop twice for those wanting more!)
Run: 3 mi
In planning your attendance please know there is a good amount of elevation change out there but we will have leaders and sweepers for all the groups to accommodate many fitness and skill levels.
Please RSVP by filling out the form on the GTLRC website or call 231-929-7911.
