Key Lime Pie Made with Real Ingredients

So, you’ve picked up your sixer of Key Lime Pie and tossed it in the fridge for proper chilling. Just a couple hours later you pop the cap and take a look inside your bottle….*gasp* FLOATIES! Panic ensues. Whatever could that blob floating on the top of my favorite dessert-as-beer concoction be? Never fear Short’s-i-verse, science is here!

Our Quality Assurance team wants you to know that Key Lime Pie with floaties is perfectly normal and safe to drink! In fact, the floaties in Key Lime Pie are completely harmless and just an indicator that we use real ingredients in our beer. Because we use real marshmallows and graham cracker crust (which contains butter) to give this brew an authentic Key Lime Pie taste, the natural oils found in these ingredients will occasionally coagulate and solidify at the top of the bottle.

Of course, should you have any questions or concerns please contact cs@shortsbrewing.com.
