Live Music Series: The Crane Wives

Pub manager and talent buyer Rob Lewis is back with another Live Music Series episode and we’re featuring The Crane Wives out of Grand Rapids. We were lucky to have the full band in studio right before they performed a show in Traverse City.

Dan Rickabus, Emilee Petersmark, Kate Pillsbury, and Ben Zito talk about their heavy tour schedule, the evolution of their music, and the release of their new album Foxlore. The timing is perfect for this interview because The Crane Wives will be performing at the Short’s Brewing Company 12 Year Anni Party!

You’ll hear two tracks from Foxlore, “Ribbs,” and “Down The River.” The album is a must listen and so is this interview. We would like to thank The Crane Wives for making this happen despite their busy schedule and we can’t wait to hear them at the 12 Year Anni Party!

One of the more anticipated beer releases of the year is featured in this episode. Melt My Brain was a silver medal winner at GABF in 2015 and it’s labeled as the gin and tonic beer because it really does taste like a gin and tonic…nailed it. Melt My Brain is available in six packs in Michigan and other nearby states now carrying Short’s!
