This episode has been talked about for a long time among the Short’s Cast team. We’ve always wanted to gather our team of Liberators together to talk about beer liberation. The Liberators play a huge role at Short’s and because their responsibilities take them all over the state it’s extremely rare we get to share a conversation with them face to face.
On this episode, you’ll hear from Rachel Payne, Pauline Knighton, Sean Cudahy, Brian Talpos, Eric Haycock (via Skype) and of course, our Head of Beer Liberation and Field Representation, Woj. You’ll learn that it’s a job that is fueled by a passion for Short’s, but also a passion for craft beer. It’s a job that never stops – with Liberators clocking in across the state at all hours of the day, seven days a week. We’re proud to bring you this interview with a the team that’s out in the field educating Michigan about craft beer and sharing the Short’s love.
The music on this week’s episode of Short’s Cast is kindly provided by Seth Bernard who is performing at the pub on New Years Eve with a great group of friends. You’ll hear two songs from Seth’s band Airborne or Aquatic?, “Field of Life” and “Where The Tall Grass Grows.” Check out Seth’s work at www.samuelsethbernard.com.
Our beer release this week is read by some dude named Forrnesto and it features “Twisted Cain.” Twisted Cain is an American Black Ale and it is now available in six-packs all across the great state of Michigan.
It’s been a great 2nd year of Short’s Cast. We thank you all for tuning in and listening to all 103 episodes. We wish you a safe and happy new year celebrated with family, friends, and a couple of Short’s beers or Starcut Ciders. We’re excited to bring you interviews, craft beer lessons, and stories from Short’s Brewing Company via the Short’s Cast next year. Cheers!
