Mountain Biking: The Long & Short’s of it

So, Memorial Day has come and gone. You had your barbeque, you drank your beer, and, if you were lucky, you cranked out your first miles of the year on some Northern Michigan single track.

Now you find yourself back in the office, daydreaming of the next time you can escape to the north for an epic weekend of riding. Fret not, Grasshopper. There are still a handful of spots open for the 2013 Long & Short’s Ride!

Join Short’s as we team up with the Northern Michigan Mountain Bike Association (NMMBA) on June 29th to explore the North Country Trail’s incredible variety of terrain. Point to point ride distances are 67, 30, and 16 miles to accommodate all fitness levels. In addition to a fully supported ride through some of the most beautiful landscapes in Michigan, your entry fee also covers a professionally-catered meal, post-ride Short’s beverages, and a night of camping at the Kalkaska Campground and RV Park. All proceeds from the Long & Short’s Ride go to NMMBA and the North Country Trail Association.

If you’re like us and ride for beer, be sure to register today! Entry fees are just $55 until June 21st. Hope to see you on the trail!
