We do fall a little different here at Short’s. Yes, we started drinking Autumn Ale in August, and we don’t feel even a little bit bad about it. In fact, we drink our favorite ESB on tap at the pub year-round! But you won’t find us packaging a pumpkin flavored brew while sporting our favorite pair of shorts and a summer tan. In fact, it’d be wrong of us to let you drink your pumpkin beer too early. Why how could we live with ourselves if we let you, the good people of the Short’s-i-verse miss out on a perfectly appropriate and historically significant beer drinking holiday? Oktoberfest!
We’ll let you catch up on the history of Oktoberfest in this blog post, and give you just a brief synopsis here: BIG GERMAN BEER PARTY beginning in mid-September. We do our part to help celebrate Oktoberfest by releasing Noble Chaos, a Marzen or Oktoberfest-style beer each September.
Noble Chaos (6.5% ABV – 40 IBU) is an Oktoberfest/Marzen (German-style amber lager) with a subtle hop bouquet and toasted caramel malt flavors. It is a well-balanced beer that finishes fresh and clean. With a pleasant nose and medium body, this brew is a taste of the fall season.
