In an effort to quench the thirst of Northern Michigan beer lovers, Short’s Brewing Company announces the public opening of their Elk Rapids Production Facility. Opened in 2009, the company’s Production Facility has traditionally only been open to the public for pre-arranged tours and at their annual Short’s Fest party held during the village’s Harbor Days celebration. This location will bring a little slice of pub life to the other side of Antrim county.
The outdoor operation will feature draft and packaged Short’s brews and Starcut Ciders (including same day packaged products), food from Vendetti’s Spanky Wagon, Production Facility tours, yard games, a selection of Short’s Mart merchandise, and more. Anticipated hours of operation are Monday – Thursday, 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Friday – Sunday, 12:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Tours will take place at 3:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Hours subject to change.
According to Short’s, the “Pull Barn” taps will begin flowing at 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 25th with a grand opening celebration to follow on Friday, May 26th and Saturday, May 27th. For more information, please visit http://facebook.com/
