Short’s Brewing Company is excited to announce its Annual Short’s to Short’s Paddle to occur on Saturday, May 18th, 2013. The paddle begins outside the Short’s Brewpub in Bellaire and meanders 27 miles through Antrim County’s lower Chain of Lakes to the Short’s Production Brewery in Elk Rapids. In its fifth year, Short’s to Short’s remains a celebration of the beautiful, clear waterways Short’s Brewing Company is so lucky to enjoy in northwest Michigan. For the first time, there is a registration fee for the event that will enable Short’s Brewing Company to donate all proceeds to two local nonprofit groups that focus on protecting the area’s precious water resources.
