Fresh looks for longtime favorites Soft Parade and Huma Lupa Licious

Pouring from the taps since nearly the beginning of the Short’s Pub in Bellaire, Soft Parade and Huma Lupa Licious were fast standouts among the Short’s Brewing Company lineup. Both exceptionally unique in their respective way, these beers quickly carved a place for themselves in our original distribution lineup, and haven’t slowed since. Now we’re excited to share with you the new look they’re both sporting this fall. Don’t worry, they maintain their classic look and taste, but this fresh fall makeover is too delicious to pass up!

For those of you who aren’t as familiar with these brews, Huma Lupa Licious’ name derives from the hop plant, Humulus lupulus. Brewed with five different hop varieties recognized for their citrus, floral, piney, and earthy qualities, Huma is known for having an intense bitterness that is balanced by a rich malty flavor. A citrus and floral aroma complements the unique qualities of Short’s flagship India Pale Ale. Huma Lupa Licious (7.7% ABV – 70 IBU) is truly a complex hop and malt theme park in your mouth.

Soft Parade (7.5% ABV – 15 IBU) is Short’s Flagship Fruit Ale brewed with pureed strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. This rose-colored ale has aromas of ripe strawberries and grain. With flavors of fresh berries and rye, Soft Parade finishes dry and eminently drinkable. Unlike any other beer out there, Soft Parade is the perfect gateway for the non beer drinker in your group or an awesome go-to for the seasoned craft beer aficionado.

The new packaging for Huma Lupa Licious subtly began popping up on shelves earlier this summer, but Soft Parade is now coming off the bottling line and headed to you with its fresh look. Whether you’re a longtime fan or it’s been awhile since you’ve popped the top on one of these reliable standbys, pick up a six pack to celebrate your next #HumaHumpDay or beer drinking adventure!
