The Locals Light Beer

Our lightest and yet very, very tasty. With a domestic lager quality about it, this beer still stands alone as a well crafted micro lager. Light hops and simple malts provide easy session ability for the beginner microbrew consumer.  The “training wheel beer”.

I have a kegorator. My last 5 kegs have been Pontious Rd Pilsner, which I love as an everyday drinking beer. I really need to cut down on my caloric intake. Is the locals light considered low in calories? I am really not a light beer fan and am not really considering decreasing my intake.
thanks

Hey Dan – nice work on the pils! We don’t have the ability to audit the calories in our beer just yet. However, the recipes for local’s and pils are not that different. Pils has substantially more hop and about 50 lb.s more in the the grist. My guess is that the calorie difference wouldn’t be to much to worry about. My personal suggestion is to take up some kind of physical activirty like walking, riding a bike, arm wrestling, bowling, carrying groceries for senior citizens, snow shoeing or that new Wii game system to help offset the calorie adjustment you want to make. Then drink what you want!
